Central Asian international Medical University (CAIMU) was approved by the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC, SRMSI was located in Jalalabad in order to respond to the recognition of the lack of doctors serving rural communities and lack of specialist in urban centers of Jalal-Abad. Its College of Medicine was set up in Jalal-Abad and is dedicated to providing medical education and training of the highest order, leading to the provision of effective medical care in both rural and urban communities. The school is located on a 5.7-hectare site close to the center of Jalal-Abad City, which boasts of a stable climate, both in terms of its weather and its politics. There are five universities within the boundaries of the City as well as several schools and colleges. Students are affiliated to the Jalal-Abad government hospital, Medline cardio hospital, and Fresenius medical care for their clinical rotations in the first year to fifth years of their courses.

The students always have the opportunity to study under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable faculty, Regular applications of innovative teaching methodologies, and practical training curriculum in the classes. An appropriate implementation of the latest medical technologies and highly advanced equipment for practical orientation. Student exchange programs are conducted for one semester, allowing the students to study at another university.
